History

Kiwami Group’s history goes back to 1997, the year when the Other Look private initiative foundation was established. Aleksey Polomskikh masterminded the idea of creating the foundation, and Olga Panchenko took the lead of its activities.

One of the first initiatives of the foundation was to launch the Hokkyokusei Aikido Club in 1998. It was designed to explore practical methods for reaching optimum human adaptive capabilities to help increase the life expectancy and improve the quality of life.

Two years later, in 2000, Olga Panchenko, under her leadership, created Kiwami Group to do research in developing soft skills.

In 2014, collaboration between Kiwami Group and the Research and Educational Center Intellect Invest began. Jointly with Intellect Invest, Kiwami Group developed the UN project “An Integrative Approach to Modeling Soft Skills”.

Also, in 2014, Kiwami Group started working on the development of the WAmetr analytical system. A year later Site Holder joined the development efforts and its CEO Vitaly Vladykin became the Vice President of Kiwami IT Group.

During 2015-2017, Kiwami Group had been exploring the possibility of creating mobile apps to self-assess correctness of movements in real time, namely for beginners in basketball, cello playing, aikido, and to master movement skills in other disciplines.

During 2018 Kiwami has been exploring the possibility of developing an expert system to spot at early stages soft skills in children aged under 7 using computer vision and neural networks technologies. The expert system is based on holistic analysis of behavioral responses, physiological characteristics, and biomedical traits.

On October 14, 2018, a closed release of the WAmetr.Perfect Posture mobile app took place.
